ALIVE AFTER 5! Our next Alive After Five is our "Parti Gras". We will once again have our "King Crawdaddy Strut" led by the incredible Junkanoo Band. The Junkanoo band is a Caribbean band with outlandish costumes that span six feet wide and as high as eight feet tall. They are a sight to see as they strut the streets leading the parade.
The "King Crawdaddy Strut' is an irreverent look at events and people from the previous year. We poke fun at politics and political figures. If you have a comment to make on anything from last year then this is the place to strut your stuff. There is only one rule and that is whatever you have planned can not offend a child. We figure that is a good guideline for what is going too far!! Is it the economy, the politicians, our local politicians, global warming, the movies, anything you want to make a statement on go for it!
As usual there will be fabulous food samples provided by our vendors and of course Steve Richard's Tailgator will be serving up something great. Wristbands are only $7.00 and entitle the attendee to sample throughout the event and to enjoy live music and strut. We hope you can join us as we throw out beads and coins to the crowd during the parade. The parade starts at 7:00 P.M. and the event is from 5:00P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
Check us out on facebook and our website at If you would like to be a vendor please contact Liz Darwick at 407-302-2586.

"I'm a bluesman," says Jeff Todd. "One of my earliest influences, Bo Diddley, told me that the road is the ultimate proving ground and that I should just go out and do it." Todd gathered two other artists to join him in his trek.
"This is a major opportunity for me," says Aprylle Gilbert. "This is the right time for me to break out of my comfort zone and bring my music to a new and receptive audience."
"It's been awhile since I've toured on my original music," says Logan Belle. "I think it's about pushing boundaries and not getting comfortable. It's what I live for."
• Jeff Todd is a performing bluesman who has achieved notoriety by recording and releasing updated versions of Mannish Boy and Mississippi Mama. He has performed throughout the southeast with The Jeff Todd Band. This will be his first national tour as a solo artist.
• Aprylle Gilbert is an artist who is passionate about her songs and life. Having grown up in a tumultuous environment that left her struggling to find her place
in life, Aprylle is no stranger to adversity. This shines through in her songwriting and gives her music a unique edge.
