There are many FREE ways to market yourself and your company...

1) Member Directory - it's SEARCHABLE! To find a specific type of business, just go to the members area and look for the "ADVANCED Search" link, next to the search box. It will pull up an empty form that looks like the one you filled out when you joined. Go to the "business description" and put in a "keyword" like "real estate" or "sales" and it will pull up anyone with those words in their profile. Keep this in mind when YOU fill out your own profile and pack your business description full of text with words that people might search on if they were looking for someone that does what you do!

2) Calendar Listings - You don't have to be the host of an event to share the event with your fellow members. If you are planning to attend something, why not help publicize it by posting it for your fellow members to see? Just make sure the info is accurate and provide a LINK to the event website so people know where to get more info. Create awareness by putting a "TAG line" at the bottom... "...posted by John Smith of ABC Accounting, hope to see you there!" (for example). Then link your name and company name to your profile page or website!

3) Photos - You can turn the PHOTO area into a FREE AD for your business! We have the most recent photos rotating through on the main site. When someone clicks on a photo it takes them to that page... and there is room there for an extensive "DESCRIPTION" including links! SO... use your company logo, or make an AD and post it as if it's a photo. Put a good description in and folks will see it!

4) Blog - Write an ARTICLE about your business. This is NOT an "ad area" but if you write a full length, feature style article about your business, complete with some photos or graphics, it is sure to get approved. Make it good though... we don't approve single paragraphs.... it needs to be INFORMATIVE!

Keep in mind that if you are looking for members to network with... both the member directory AND the photo or blog areas, are great to browse through! Go look for folks that could be good referral sources for your business, CALL THEM up and introduce yourself!
