Central Florida Home and Garden Show

Central Floridians can find ideas and inspiration at the 2009 Central Florida Home & Garden Show, returning March 13-15 to Hall North B in the Orange County Convention Center’s North/South complex off Universal Boulevard.

The three-day home improvement extravaganza boasts the area’s largest selection of the latest products and services for virtually every area of the home, indoors and out, all under one roof.

At this year’s show, consumers can once again obtain top-notch advice and ideas from special guests and show features. Rib Hillis, design expert on ABC TV’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, will share his knowledge of home improvement and offer solutions to common household issues during his appearances on Friday and Saturday. “Sparkle Josh” Johnson, designer and contestant on the second season of HGTV’s Design Star, will dazzle guests throughout the weekend with his colorful and entertaining design tips and perspectives culled from sixteen years of experience in music, fashion and interior design.

Also appearing throughout the weekend is Chef Lou Petrozza, finalist on the fourth season of Fox’s reality cooking show, Hell’s Kitchen, who will whip up specialties and offers culinary tips and tasty samples on the Cooking with Fox 35 Stage.

Show hours are Friday and Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m., and Sunday, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Tickets are available at the door, and are $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 6-12, and free for children 5 and under. Seniors (60 and over) are $5 on Friday only. Guests can gain admission for only $5 after 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
