Perception is reality.

My ex boss used to say this to me all the time. He said no matter what your intentions are if others perception of you or your business is the opposite then that is reality.

What do others perceive of you or your business, are you projecting what you think you are projecting.

Some tips which could help you

Always say it like it is, do not over sell yourself or you company.
Be factual
Project your image from the heart
Get feed back to make sure your communication is being interpreted the way you think it is.

Everyone can have a different perception of what is going on but if you are consistent with your approach and communication the majority of people will all have the same perception of you and your business.

Remember feedback is the best test, testimonials and endorsement.
