Event Description
The Palladium Theater will be the venue for the 2012 “Floridiana Festival & Highwaymen Artist Show” on Sunday, January 29th. The focus will remain on early Florida souvenirs, but January 29th will see a touch of vintage Hawaiiana, as well as many new exhibitors with the best in old Florida décor. Lectures include “The Culture of Aloha Shirts” (wear your vintage Aloha shirt for a free valuation, browse exhibitors selling old Aloha-wear) and “Taking a Textile Trip Back in Time…to the Era of Barkcloth.”
The Florida Highwaymen artists will be exhibiting their beautiful landscape paintings. The public is invited to bring their vintage Florida paintings to the show for a complimentary valuation by an expert in the field.
