Spend three days immersed in the remarkable facts, stories, and artifacts related to Florida’s little known role in the War Between the States. Explore Florida’s transition from pre-war territory to state to secession in 40 years. Discover the battles that were fought off of Florida’s coast and learn the impact the war had on local residents including Lincoln conspirator, Lewis Thornton Powell. 9 a.m.-3 p.m. each day. Members $30 per day or $75 for three days; non-members $35 per day or $85 for three days. Continental breakfast and lunch are included each day. Call (407) 836-7010 for reservations.
