About Ajay Purohit, owner and practitoner at Spectrum Wellcare...
 

Ajay Purohit attended Tulane University from August, 1991 to December, 1994. He graduated, Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Science Degree (BS) in Psychology. He attended the Tulane University School of Public Health from August, 1998 to May, 1999. Ajay received a Master in Public Health degree (MPH) in Health Systems Management. 

Mr. Purohit then attended Louisiana State Medical School in the fall of 1999 for the purpose of receiving a Doctorate in Medicine (MD) degree. However, because of his interest in Eastern Medicine, he decided to leave and pursue studies in Chinese Medicine.

Ajay Purohit decided to attend the Florida College of Integrative Medicine to receive his education in Chinese Medicine. He attended from August, 2006 to June, 2009. Ajay graduated with honors in the summer of 2009.

Ajay Purohit passed all portions of the Nation Board Exam and, thus, is nationally certified by the Nation Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). He has a current license with the State of Florida. Ajay's license number with the state is AP2734. He is a member of the Florida State Oriental Medical Association.
