If you are a bilingual professional and your office outsourced translation services, what was your demeanor when the translation was received?

12 Tips from a Translator to a Client
on How to Enhance their Relationship
1. Never give me work in the morning. Always wait until 5:00 p.m. and then bring it to me. The challenge of a deadline is refreshing.
2. If it's really a "rush job" call in and interrupt me every 10 minutes to inquire how it's going. That helps.
3. Always leave the office without telling anyone where you're going. It gives me a chance to be creative when I need to ask a question.

Hey this is Drew with the Red Chair Project I am currently interning here so I just wanted to post this blog just to help humanize us as a company. Mainly because most companies only have official blogs and other things. So pretty much I am just giving our company more of a voice instead of some kind of computerized robot or something. So pretty much I'm just talking about the great people that I work with. To start off I work with another intern named Colby he is really awesome and he wears… Continue

This morning I was one of the presenters on the call and talked about the joy I have experienced myself and brought to many others through the unique Send Out Cards system. I invited everyone to try the system by sending a REAL card, CUSTOM DESIGNED from their OWN COMPUTER, and sending it to someone who will be thrilled to receive it.
How come nobody took me up on this offer? I just don't understand it! There are no catches, except the one I mentioned: Please give me feedback on how… Continue

Candide, ou l'Optimisme (written in 1759) is a French satire by the Enlightenment philosopher Voltaire, English translations of which have been titled Candide: Or, All for the Best (1759); Candide: Or, The Optimist (1762); and Candide: Or, Optimism.
Note the important word there... Optimism.
That pretty much sums up the spirit of Candide Uwizeyimana, a charming young lady I've had the privilege of corresponding with, thanks to… Continue

Every small business owner knows that video is one of the most - if not the
most - powerful advertising media available, but until now it has been cost prohibitive because of production cost and the price of television air time. Fortunately, that has changed.
Many cable and sattellite systems offer a local news station with advertising rates that are well within reach of the local small business. The goal of the advertising salesperson, of course, is to sell you the largest… Continue
