- I facilitate groups with my music and am a Certified Health Rhythms Empowerment facilitator. All ages are welcome, children through seniors. With kids, I facilitate Character building Drum rhythms, such as Courage, Respect and Responsibility. I also have many rhythms that help participants de-stress, focus and express their feelings. With seniors I play original songs on my flutes and some that are familiar. I share drum rhythms with them by using Laughter exercises, gibberish and funny expressions. The Silver Alto and Native American Flutes are my main instruments so they are a part of every group. Many times we create a song with one of the character building rhythms. The benefits of character building rhythms are that they are therapeutic, educational and fun! Medical research shows that even casual drumming does lower cortisol and improve immune function. I have seen clients respond to my Live Therapeutic Music with normalized blood pressure, heart rate and improved oxygen uptake Chromotherapy is for one on one clients to de-stress with.It is a combination of illuminated, various colors of light with Live Silver Alto Flute Music played by me. I have seen young children respond to this Therapy with less stress and better focus. "Chery", has been trained in Chromotherapy by the Holistic Education Therapy School. There is mention of Color Therapy in the "Prescription for Nutritional Healing "book. Brain focus, lower cortisol levels, relaxation, pain reduction are a few of the benefits.
