AUDITIONS: FIVE NICKELS by Jack Neary

Venue Ensemble Theatre (VET) will hold auditions for FIVE NICKELS by Jack Neary on Sunday February 21st and Tuesday, February 23rd at 7pm at Venue Theatre, 9125 US 19 N, Pinellas Park, FL.

“Five Nickels” is a full evening of one-act plays that cover the gambit of trying to flirt as a senior, a young ex-couple agonizing over the fact that their single parents now want to date each other, and the hilarious plight of a regular Joe trying to accommodate the seemingly outrageous wedding demands of his only daughter.

Directors Mary Kay Cyrus and Jeaux Brown are casting up to 4 Men (40-60s), 4 Women (40-60s), 3 Men (20-30s), and 3 Women (20-30s). Some roles may be double-cast.

Production will run April 9 – 25, 2010. For some of the one acts, rehearsals may be scheduled during the daytime based upon actor availability.

Also in need of production assistance for stage manager, backstage, lights and sound.
