June 1, 2009 - Cheers bar in Kissimmee is well known for its charitable contributions. Over the past 14 years, Cheers has given back to the community by its involvement in many events such as the walk for life that benefits the American Cancer Society (ACS), donating cell phones for our troops, and several charity golf events. Cheers is located at 3498 Polynesian Isle Boulevard, which is on the corner of Route 535 and Polynesian Isle Boulevard, in Kissimmee.
Cheers is partnering with the Budweiser and the American Legion of St Cloud in an event that directly benefits The American Cancer Society, whose research program focuses on determining the causes of cancer and supporting efforts to prevent and cure the disease. Beginning on June 1st and continuing through July 10th, patrons can collect raffle tickets at Cheers and a weekly drawing will qualify one lucky person to compete for a chance to win twenty thousand dollars in cash on Saturday, July 11, 2009.
In a separate and simultaneous promotion, Budweiser is also sponsoring a raffle for one lucky winner will receive 2 tickets to the Coke Zero race in Daytona with private jet service to and from the race, luxury box accommodations, and a prize pack from Budweiser. The main event will be held at Cheers on July 11th which features live entertainment, such as the Jeff Howell Band, great food and fun for all.
