2nd Annual Orlando Cuban Sandwich Smackdown is set for Saturday, February 25th, 2017
Florida – In celebration of the Annual International Cuban Sandwich Festival, a time when some of the biggest names in FOOD and VIP’s from around the nation re-unite and join efforts in celebration of the Cuban Sandwiches Rich Culinary and Cultural History! An exciting FREE Food & Art COMMUNITY event the Cuban Sandwich Festival is an exciting festival and contest to find THE BEST CUBAN SANDWICHES IN THE WORLD!
Join us for the BIG SMACKDOWN where Restaurants from all over Central Florida join us to compete for the opportunity to represent Metro Orlando and the chance to win the 2017 title of “THE BEST CUBAN SANDWICH IN THE WORLD!”
The Cuban Sandwich Festival is an exciting festival and contest to find THE BEST Traditional and non-Traditional Cuban Sandwiches in Florida and beyond! Guest enjoy great music by our official DJ: Johnnie Rivera -Vaya DJ plus LIVE cultural music on Stage featuring dance and musical performances! A true cultural festival featuring over 100 Food, Art & Cultural Exhibitors!
We will also be attempting to make the BIGGET Cuban Sandwich in the World, the current record is for 128 Ft and is held by Latin Times Media, Inc., in Tampa, Florida!
The 2nd Annual Orlando Cuban Sandwich Smackdown is scheduled for Saturday, February 25th, 2017 11AM-5PM@ Valencia College, located at 1800 South Kirkman Road, Orlando, FL 32811.

City of Kissimmee Mayor Jose Alvarez, Publisher of La Prensa Newspaper Dora Casanova, Publisher of Osceola Star Guillermo “Bill” Hansen. Community leader Eddie Fernandez, Julio Aviles and many more to be announced shortly!
